Narrate

by Anastacia-Reneé

i am rewriting my own narrative.  in this (a) version i am neither the angry black protagonist or the occasional  black barista with light brown curly hair & well meaning white mother. in this (a) version i am neither invisible or hypersexualized & i am hairy naked. my stretch marks all lit up like a dancing parasite under a graffiti microscope          beneath a mirrored ceiling beneath

a green sky (i am love).
